The Eleuthera Chamber of Commerce (ECC) is a non-profit organization that represents a wide cross-section of private sector businesses on the island of Eleuthera.
Established in 2011, the EEC's primary goal is to support the success and growth of business and entrepreneurship on the island of Eleuthera. The ECC’s membership currently consists of over eighty (80) businesses throughout The Bahamas, all of which can be viewed on our growing List of Members.
ECC's main objectives include:
1 presenting a unified voice that represents the business interests of local business owners to the local and national levels of Government;
2 offering quality training and educational opportunities through its partnerships;
3 connecting businesses through programs and events; and
4 supporting economic growth for the island through the expansion and development of local businesses.

Candice Turnquest
On September 1, 2019, the board of The Eleuthera Chamber of Commerce (ECC) announced the appointment of Candice Turnquest as its new Executive Director, effective 1st September 2019.
Since joining the Eleuthera Chamber of Commerce (ECC) in March of 2019, Candice has been making an outstanding contribution to the organization. She has helped to more than double its membership which, as at the end of 2019 stands at over 60 members. She is also spearheading the development of the ECC's proposed Commercial Center / Innovation Hub.
Candice brings a wealth of experience to the organization and has worked in marketing and program management roles for over 15 years. In addition to running her own consultancy firm, Candice was previously employed as the regional manager for employee recognition programs for a top 3 Canadian bank. During her tenure, she oversaw programs in 18 countries across the Caribbean.
In addition to being a University of Stanford Certified Project Manager, Candice is also a licensed real estate agent. She holds a BA (Combined Honors) in Business Management and Communications and an MA in Leading Innovation and Change.
The ECC board is happy to have Candice as part of its team and look forward to a productive working relationship.
